Stories

"My family adopted Hunny in December 2006, after a long search for a dog to adopt.  We were a bit hesitant to look at adult dogs, as we really wanted a puppy for our young daughter to grow up with, but when we saw Hunny, we fell in love instantly! Though we were initially concerned about adopting a pitbull mix because of their unfortunate reputation, we can now say without a doubt that she has been a wonderful addition to our family. While she was a bit shy at first, she has adapted beautifully to her new home, and enjoys roaming our two acres, playing with her cat buddies, Charlie and Alex, and snuggling with our daughter, Alivia. After loving and learning with Hunny, we are looking forward to spending our lives together. We encourage anyone with any doubts about adopting a pitbull or pitbull mix dog to take a look at our success story and see what wonderful, amazing, loyal pets they can be."
