Other Ways to Help the SPCA:
Getting married? Now you can support the Tompkins County SPCA by registering with the I Do Foundation. From honeymoons to invitations to wedding gifts to charitable wedding favors, the I Do Foundation allows couples and their guests to make wedding-related purchases that generate donations for charity. The I Do Foundation's Charity Registry service also makes it easy for guests to make donations in lieu of gifts. All of these services are available free of cost at www.IDoFoundation.org. Check it out today, and be sure to select the Tompkins County SPCA as the beneficiary of your charitable wedding.
What if the Tompkins County SPCA earned a penny every time you searched the Internet? Well, now we can!
GoodSearch.com is a new search engine that donates half its revenue, about a penny per search, to the charities its users designate. You use it just as you would any search engine, and it's powered by Yahoo!, so you get great results.
Just go to www.goodsearch.com and be sure to enter the Tompkins County SPCA as the charity you want to support. Just 500 of us searching four times a day will raise about $7300 in a year without anyone spending a dime! And, be sure to spread the word! Click on this banner to find out more!
IGive is an online donation program. When you shop through IGive, hundreds of online retailers, including Petco, Target, Doctors Foster & Smith and others, will donate part of your sale price to the organization of your choice. The donation comes from the retailer, not you, so you don't pay anything extra.
In order to for us to receive a donation, you must visit each retailer through the IGive web site, so that they can track your donation amount. Click on this banner to join IGive as a supporter of the Tompkins County SPCA.
Shop at Amazon.com and a portion of all sales will go to help the animals of the Tompkins County SPCA.

"Dear Friends at the SPCA of TC,
You might remember me as Rascal, the coonhound. I write to tell you what has happened to me since I left with my new owners the Saturday before Easter, when the Potters came to visit me and took me home. They liked my coonhound bark, my color, and the way I focused on protecting the area of other dogs and animals.
The Potters have a grandson, Coby, who really likes giving me treats and having me sit, shake, and lay down. My prior owner had already taught me these things so it is very easy for me to consume all the treats Coby offers. And they are good!
My new home is fantastic! They have two and a half acres for me to mark my territory on, but the best part is that there is an apartment complex across the road that has many vet students with dogs that I can bark at. The Potters leave their dining room window open about four inches so that I can smell and hear anyone that needs barking at. And since we are on the bus route, I get to bark at the busses when they stop in front of the house. You see, they are T-“CAT” busses.
I am now the Alpha Dog of the West End of Varna.” This title was passed on to me from Winston, a commanding Saint Bernard rescue dog who passed away from cancer just one week before I was adopted. Winston’s owner, Dave, comes by several times a week to visit and take me for a run. I like that.
So I just want to thank you for letting me come home with the Potters. I am a lucky dog!
