CAMP SPCA 2015

Registration is now CLOSED

No spaces will be reserved without a completed registration form and full payment.

For the 9th year the SPCA of Tompkins County is proud to offer a summer camp where 9-12 year olds will spend an exciting week learning all about animals. This year Camp SPCA will be offered for eight sessions with 16 kids attending each session. The hours for Camp SPCA are 9:00am until 3:00pm, Monday through Friday. Each child is eligible to enroll for just one week so we can reach as many kids as possible.

Our campers will discover the world of our animal friends through various speakers, enjoyable activities and fun and educational field trips.

Scholarships Available

Through the generosity of a local foundation there are 10 scholarships spaces available for 2015 SPCA Summer Camp.

In order to qualify, families who apply must be on at least one form of state or federal public assistance (Food Stamps, SSI, SSD and/or Medicaid)

Proof of eligibility needs to be provided at the time of registration and spaces will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.  The registration fee will be paid in full through the scholarship, but families must be able to provide their own transportation to and from the SPCA for normal camp hours. A brief paragraph should be attached to the application from the parent and/or child indicating why attending Camp SPCA would be beneficial.
