For the 9th year the SPCA of Tompkins County is proud to offer a summer camp where 9-12 year olds will spend an exciting week learning all about animals. This year Camp SPCA will be offered for eight sessions with 16 kids attending each session. The hours for Camp SPCA are 9:00am until 3:00pm, Monday through Friday. Each child is eligible to enroll for just one week so we can reach as many kids as possible.

Our campers will discover the world of our animal friends through various speakers, enjoyable activities and fun and educational field trips.

Scholarships Available

Through the generosity of a local foundation there are 10 scholarships spaces available for 2015 SPCA Summer Camp.

In order to qualify, families who apply must be on at least one form of state or federal public assistance (Food Stamps, SSI, SSD and/or Medicaid)

"Hello – thought you might be interested in a picture of a young cat we adopted last November. We named her Bobbi.  She is a “wild thing!”  What a fantastic personality she has.  She is such a joy to have.  We couldn’t have chosen a better kitty – actually, I think she chose me!  Right now she is “cat-napping,” but it won’t last long.  She’ll be rippity-snortin’ before I know it!"
