We at the Tompkins County SPCA dare to dream of building a No-Kill community. To provide refuge, nourishment and care - and to find a loving home - for every healthy and treatable sick and injured animal who comes to us.

Every year, the Tompkins County SPCA provides such care for the majority of the 3,000 dogs and cats who pass through our doors. Although many of these animals simply need another home, still many others are sick, injured, unweaned, and/or traumatized. We are doing a good job, but it is not enough.

Supporting the Tompkins County SPCA in our quest for a new shelter is a wonderful opportunity not only to enrich the life of an animal in meaningful ways, but also to make a difference - a lifesaving difference - that can provide an animal a lifetime of love. You can save lives.

Without the public’s support, a No Kill Tompkins County would always remain a dream. But with the public’s help - with your help - we are making our dreams come true.
