Lost or found an animal? We can help.

Losing a beloved pet can be a scary and traumatic event. Every day the SPCA receives numerous phone calls about a lost or missing pet, as well as calls from members of the public who have found stray or missing animals.

To report your pet lost, missing, or possibly stolen; or if you have found an animal that does not belong to you; please contact us immediately at (607) 257-1822 x237 or email us at info@spcaonline.com. After hours, please contact Tompkins County Animal Control as soon as possible. Please be sure to include a description of the animal, the location from where your pet went missing or where you have found an animal that is not yours. Please include your name, address, and telephone number where you can be reached, and if possible in your email, please attach a photo or two of the lost or found animal that we can share on our website and social media to help others in identifying and locating your lost or found animal.

You should also call us at (607) 257-1822 x237 to report your pet lost or missing or to report an animal that you have found or to speak directly to an Animal Control Officer.
